Have you questioned if the way you’re washing your clothes is the best way or option? Is there dirt left behind? What’s in the detergent I’m using? Is this the best way to care for this fabric?
I wanted to share with you a proper way to care for all your fabrics, especially your silks. So, when you add The Lola Top or any future silk pieces, you’ll feel confident in caring for it.

-
Helps reduce shrinkage, minimizes fading, keeps colors from transferring and causes fewer wrinkles
-
Uses less energy which is better for the environment. It causes less wear and tear on fabrics and saves money!
-
Helps release microfibers in the fabric into the environment. meaning the potential colors and dyes are well-absorbed, reducing the harm into the environment

-
Use HE (High efficiency) laundry detergent but only use as required. This will prevent buildup on the fabric
-
Use Distilled Vinegar instead of Fabric Softener. Fabric Softener leaves a buildup on your clothes. The softness you feel is basically chemicals.
-
Distilled White Vinegar is mildly acidic. Which helps eat away anything left in your clothes. Which allows the fiber to fluff and become softer. It's more cost effective and hypoallergenic. Plus, it's a natural anti-fungal and antibacterial!

-
Hang Dry or Lay flat. This is honestly the best option for any clothing, bedding, towels, etc. You'll save tons of money by not using the dryer. Plus, your clothes will shrink less.
-
Use Wool Dryer Balls instead of dryer sheets. Dryer sheets leave a waxy buildup on your clothes and machine. Wool Dryer Balls are reusable and chemical free! Hypoallergenic and no buildup.
